The Papillons de Nuit festival returns for a crazy 2024 edition!
Papillons de Nuit is THE festival that has brought Normandy to life every year for 22 years. This associative festival relies on its 1,600 volunteers each year to bring a weekend of music to an audience that grows each year. Building on its success, the festival achieved its objective of promoting access to culture in an area in the process of rural desertification. After the 86,000 festival-goers in 2022, and the 93,000 in 2023, what do we need to know for the 2024 edition?
1. 36 concerts over 3 days: what is the program?
This year, the Papillons de Nuit festival once again welcomes some pretty names, such as Lost Frequencies, SCH, Hoshi, Dub Inc, Sierra, Ninho, Santa, Trinix, Grand Corps Malade, Zaho de Sagazan, SDM, Maddy Street, Pierre de Maere, Eddy de Pretto, Christophe Mae, Matt Pokora...

2. Catering and activities at the festival: what to expect?
The festival takes place over three days, and of course the organizers have planned activities to liven up the festival! On the program, you will find ( More details here ):
- A family area
- A big wheel
- A scratch truck
- A merchandising store
- A makeup stand
- A screen printing workshop
For catering, the Papillons de Nuit festival works with regional producers who guarantee quality and local know-how:
- Tripe bar and black pudding bar
- Pasquier Confectionery
- Snack and rotisserie
- Breakfasts
- Refreshments (craft beer bars, cocktails, ciders and other drinks...)
3. Saint-Laurent-de-Cuves: the city gets involved!
Close to the festival, you will find the campsite with its share of activities. On the program, two main activities:
- The “Loco Loco” parade by the Moutons Electriques is a low-speed train line which will connect the campsite station to the festival station via the station in the town of Saint-Laurent-de-Cuves. The three stations will be mini funfairs with various activities to keep you entertained during the festival.
- Les Papillons Survoltés by the joggers of Val de Sée organize around fifteen workshops to motivate the most athletic to complete a very fun obstacle course!
In the village town, the town has installed a stage to allow Norman artists to appear on stage and offer their music to all the inhabitants. The objective? Discover the region's new musical generation during free concerts. Access to culture is very present!
4. Practical information: what to remember?
The first information to take into account and which we recommend is the possibility of bringing a 1 liter bottle (without alcohol) .
The site will be open for the 3 days of the festival:
- Friday 👉🏼 7:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.
- Saturday 👉🏼 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m.
- Sunday 👉🏼12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Depending on your ticket, your bracelet will allow you to enter this or that day of the festival. You must take into account that any exit will be final (except for packages).
Payments will only be made using the SouPap's device and these payment bracelets will be rechargeable using a bank at the festival.
