NRJ Music Awards 2024: who are the favorites of the evening?

The NRJ Music Awards 2024 , one of the most anticipated musical events of the year, will be held on November 1st at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes . Presented by Nikos Aliagas , this 26th edition promises to bring together the biggest French and international stars , with nominations that highlight the artists who have marked the musical year! Who are the nominees and favorites of the evening?

1. Most nominated artists

David Guetta , already the holder of several trophies, stands out this year with three nominations in the categories of Francophone Male Artist , International Duo with OneRepublic for "I Don't Wanna Wait", and DJ of the Year . Facing him, the duo Justice , who made their big comeback on the music scene, is also in the running for three awards: Francophone Group , DJ and Concert .

Among international artists , Taylor Swift is competing in three categories : International Female Artist , Concert of the Year , and International Duo for her duet with Post Malone on the song "Fortnight." The American pop star faces fierce competition from artists like Beyoncé , Billie Eilish and Dua Lipa .

2. The new revelations

This edition also highlights promising new revelations . On the French-speaking side , Pierre Garnier , winner of the Star Academy , and his comrade Helena are competing for the title of French-speaking Revelation , alongside Carbonne , Jungeli and Jeck .

Internationally , young talents like Benson Boone , Chappell Roan , Dasha , Myles Smith and Teddy Swims are competing for the International Revelation trophy .

3. French-speaking artists in the spotlight

Among the French-speaking female artists , the competition will be intense between Aya Nakamura , Louane , Santa , Vitaa and Zaho de Sagazan . Among the men, Slimane , the big winner of the 2023 edition, could once again leave with the trophy of French-speaking Male Artist , facing competitors such as Amir , Gims and Joseph Kamel .

4. The main categories of the year

The title of International Hit of the Year will be played between " Beautiful Things " by Benson Boone , " Training Season " by Dua Lipa , " Eyes Closed " by Imagine Dragons , " Espresso " by Sabrina Carpenter and " Lose Control " by Teddy Swims .

On the duos side , the International Collaborations category is marked by prestigious pairs such as David Guetta & OneRepublic , Kygo & Ava Max , Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars , and of course Taylor Swift & Post Malone .

5. How to vote?

The public can vote for their favorite artists until November 1st at noon , via the NRJ app and the official NRJ Music Awards website . As in previous years, it is possible to vote once a day in each category.
